Obituary of Julia M. Phan
Bangor & Boston - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Morgan Phan on January 1, 2025. Born on June 12, 2000, in Bangor, Maine, Julia was a bright and vibrant presence who brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.
A graduate of the University of Maine, Julia earned her degrees in Finance and Philosophy summa cum laude, reflecting her dedication to academic excellence and her love for learning. Julia also found inspiration in the teachings of Andrew Huberman. She listened to his podcasts daily, drawn to his insights with the same curiosity and enthusiasm that defined her approach to the world. Her love for learning was matched only by her zest for life’s simple pleasures—savoring matcha lattes, indulging in sweet treats, and delighting in mimosas shared with friends. Julia’s presence was nothing short of magical. Cheerful and bright, she was a precious ray of sunshine who brought smiles and laughter wherever she went. She had an adventurous spirit that led her to explore new places and cuisines, always eager to embrace the unknown with open arms. Those fortunate enough to cross her path know Julia had the unique ability of turning ordinary moments into cherished memories.
Julia is survived by her loving parents, Jimmy Phan and Stephanie Nguyen; her brother, Blair Phan; her best friend, Aylee Doane; and her beloved wiener dog, Lolli. Her family and friends will forever hold dear the memories of her infectious smile and cheerful personality.
Though her time with us was far too brief, Julia’s legacy of love and joy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her. May those who mourn her loss find comfort in the light she brought into their lives and inspiration in the way she lived hers so fully.
Services will be held privately. Messages and memories of Julia may be shared with her family here on the tribute wall.
