Obituary of Nicholas B. Marshall

Nicholas B. Marshall

Winterport - Nicholas B. “Nick” Marshall, 37, passed away on August 23, 2024 at his home in Winterport.

Nick attended Winterport and Hampden schools and he worked in the paving industry for many years. It was hard, long, dirty work, but he enjoyed the work and the people he worked with. Nick was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He was happiest while spending time with his children, Maddox and Harper. Whether it was walking the beach looking for shells, going to the trampoline park, riding go-karts and 4-wheelers, skateboarding with Maddox or cookouts with the family. So many happy memories will be with them forever. Nick also enjoyed target shooting. His friends and family would tell you that he was always there for them to lend a helping hand.

Nick is survived by his son, Maddox L. Marshall and his daughter, Harper J. Marshall; mother Terrie (Fortin) Abbott and her husband, Eric of Winterport; father, Michael Marshall of NH; brother, Christopher Marshall of Winterport; sister, Rebecca Bruce and her fiancé, Shane Gallant of Winterport; nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.  He also leaves behind his special aunt and uncle, Tobey (Proctor) LaFountain and her husband, James of Winterport and very close cousins, Joshua and Brianna Leneski of Winterport. He is predeceased by his Nana, Joan Proctor of Winterport and his grandfather, Burton Marshall of Seabrook, NH.
