Sam Ford - was a man who would do anything for anyone, he owned a hearty laugh, would animate any conversation or story tale, he was a genuine friend to anyone he met, and had the ability to recite any line spoken in the movie “A Christmas Story.”
I deeply regret not having an opportunity to say good-by… never forgotten. YOU are missed by many!

I met Jackie and Sam through work at EMMC. They say opposites attract. In the lab Jackie you seemed so serious and quiet. Sam was anything but that. You picked a great photo of him. The eyes say it all. You could tell a great story or joke would be told when he had that look. I remember talking with Sam when he worked at Sears. It was easy to see Jesus meant everything to him. Andrea and I moved to Hawaii in 2012. We will be sure to wear Aloha attire in Sam’s honor for the service. Between David Smith and Sam, Jesus is adding some great guys to Heaven.

So hard to pick just one memory from so many, but here's one that many folks have never heard.
Sam, Roger Dugas, Bobby Jackson and myself used to jam together in an unfinished room over my kitchen in the late 60's. We called ourselves 'Lord Frugg' (!?!), made a LOT of noise, and basically drove my mom bonkers. Sam had a natural rhythm that I always envied when he sat behind a drum set. For someone with no background playing drums it was awesome to hear him play.
I'll always remember and never forget.
Rest in peace, my brother, and save me a spot in the choir.

Growing up in East Eddington Village was a true blessing. There is truth in the saying "It takes a village to raise a child" Sam was a huge part of that village. He was like a big brother to me. He seemed to watch out for me and guided me like a big brother would during the time I was in Jr High and High School living with my mother across from the Grange Hall on Rt 9. I have vivid memories of throwing a football with Sam and listening to his Wolfman Jack impressions. Over the years he kept in touch, coming to my wedding in 1985 or occasionally showing up at some of our family cookouts. I was truly saddened to hear of his passing. He was a man who loved life and made sure others around him experienced his joy.
I will miss you brother.

Sam, I remember you so well. When our family first moved to E.Eddington, I was 15. Sam you were the first to come visit and make your acquaintance. You and Joel. I have never forgotten and through the years I often thought how wonderful it was to be included. I often thought of you and just that simple gesture meant so much at a time I was so lost. I often thought what a great family the Fords and Treadwells were. Sam you will be missed by many. I’m so sorry you needed to leave so soon. I know you have a new purpose in your new Kingdom. My sincere condolences to Jackie and your family.

I remember back at Camp Jimbo. When we were teenagers and younger. Brother Sam brother Spike and myself. Went fishing at Little Green Lake, to catch some trout. Spike and I caught four really big trout and Brother Sam only caught two little baby trout maybe two three inches long. Sam love to fish and he made up for those two little ones in his later years. He is a great brother and I will miss him greatly love you brother Sam.
