Reflecting on Brandon's life brings back memories of simpler times—sharing a beer, laughing by the fire, and the impact he had on me. Though I moved away from Maine, the bond shared with Brandon continued to resonate with me. During tough times, I found solace in recalling our moments together and a sense of peace and support I felt in our circle of friends from Holden. These memories have been a source of comfort and reassurance, reminding me of the influence of our early years.
Some of my fondest memories with Brandon involve the sports we played—whether it was organized games or just hitting balls in the yard. He was always the backbone of the team, carrying us through challenging games. Those moments, still resonate with me and I remember them like they were yesterday..
Brandon’s passing deeply saddens all of us, but I know he wouldn’t want us to dwell. Instead, he would want us to remember him from time to time, think of him during a new experience or adventure, or simply reflect on the comfort his presence provided. In doing so, his spirit and presence will continue to guide us.
I am heartbroken by his loss, I am grateful for the time we shared. As I move forward, I carry Brandon with me as we all should ready for new adventures and assured that even in tough times, things will improve.
Brandon will always be a part of our journey, a presence by my side, reminding me of the strength and resilience he exhibited throughout his life.

I grew up with Brandon since kindergarten. We played little league, pee wee basketball and Jr. high ball together. We had a neighborhood full of boys so we played countless unsanctioned sports together. Brandon and I got an apartment together shortly after high school on Essex street in Bangor. Had a lot of good times. We learned to snow board together. Spent some good winters at Sunday River, Sugarloaf and Eaton mountain. We explored Maine through mountain biking . Before single tracks and trail forks we would study the gazetteer for remote forest roads and trails. We would just head out for adventure and get ourselves in some situations. Fishing ,hiking and camp. Summers down to Violette 's Beach playing hacky sack and volley ball. I have endless memories of Brandon. Honestly I could write book. A true friend who had a passion for life and truly lived a good one. I will forever feel privileged to have known Brandon an experienced life with him. Few people have friends their entire live's and I feel lucky to have lived part of mine with Brandon!

My heartfelt condolences to Donna and Jim and your family. God bless you all. I will always remember introducing Brandon to motorcycles. He caught the fever early and had a passion like no others. He clearly had a gift for riding on two wheels. He will be missed. With sympathy Jim Kacer

I met Brandon and his parents when he was first diagnosed. I was one of the nurses that helped care for him. My memories of the family are a solid unit full of love and caring for each other. Brandon was very strong and brave. It sounded as if he grew up to be loved by many.

I got to know Brandon, a younger but fellow Brewer High alumnus, many years ago through mutual friends, Jim Watkins and Dan Joyce. Not long after we became neighbors and friends and I had the privilege of speaking with him at least once a week during the summertime as he kept our business properties looking great and would also come to the rescue when I broke my own plow equipment in the winter. He took great pride in his work.
Our parking lot conversations began by talking about family and friends and usually ended by solving many world problems with spirited discussions about taxes and economic policy. I believe our conversations would end with mutual contentment and resolution but with a much higher blood pressure.
Heartfelt condolences to Jim, Donna, Darcy and family. Brandon will leave a large void but will be fondly remembered especially when controversial political issues arise.

Brandon was a beautiful free, spirited young man. He loved and enjoyed his family friends and let’s not forget his dogs especially Axel. Was his home and he truly loved growing up and living in Maine. He was loved by many and he will be missed, but with our faith, we are able to cherish our memories that we had with him and know that he left us with these words. I have a home above from sin and sorrow free Mansion with eternal love designed and formed for me. Rest in peace, Brandon we love you.

Brandon, your time was cut short, but the memories remain vivid. There were countless days when Brian, Shane, and I rode our bikes from Mann Hill Road/Nolan Road into town, making it an all-day adventure. We also shared moments playing sports together, with your dad as our coach, always adding an interesting twist. The times we bumped into each other at the coach house or exchanged a wave hello while passing in town are etched in my mind. Your absence will be deeply felt, but the memories of our childhood and growing up together will forever leave a mark in my heart and life. Thank you for the impact you've had and the time we shared. I am sorry that I will not be there physically to share in the celebration of life with friends and family, however please know my thoughts are with you and your family and the beloved friends that will remember you.

Brandon…he was about 10 maybe when we left Maine for another state. Brandon got along with my grandson when he and his mom, Donna came to visit from next door to us. Actually we spent a lot of time back and forth at each others homes. Brandon was this cute kid who was very well mannered and interested in my son’s dirt bike. And then, to think, he became even interested to the point of owning and riding his own. Brandon… we will miss you. Rest in peace and we’ll see you soon, where we will have the time to play catch up.
