Obituary of Patricia A Watson

Patricia A. (Philbrick) Watson, 74, passed away unexpectedly April 3, 2024 after a courageous five-year battle with Alzheimers Disease. She was born Sept 27, 1949, the eldest child of Robert E. and Janet H. (Timon) Philbrick.

When Janet was just 41 years old, she passed away leaving behind four children. Patty helped raise her siblings taking in her youngest sister and raised her as her own daughter. Patty would marry the love of her life, Walter R. Watson and together for nearly 57 years they would raise a family.

She was predeceased by her parents and an infant sister, Rebecca. Surviving in addition to her husband is her sister (adopted daughter), Angela (Philbrick) Twombly and her husband, Isaac and their daughter, Lauren. Her son, (Walter) Joseph and his son, Cody. Her son, Steven and his wife, Lisa and their daughter, Meaghan. Her son, Jeffrey and his wife, Stacy and their daughters, Kaylie and husband, Alex and Emily. A Great Grandson, Rowan. Her brother, Robert and his wife, Lorraine and his son Joshua and daughter, Lisa. Her sister, Rose and her son, David and his wife, Emily and their daughters, Ciera, Alexis and Olivia. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. The family would like to thank all of the nurses at Eastside rehab for the care given to Patty and a special “thank you” to her nurse, Nancy who went above and beyond.

Patricia’s wishes were for no formal services. Patty will be missed by all who loved her. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Maine at alz.org/maine.
