Obituary of Inverno Mary Dorsky

Inverno Mary Dorsky, “Bea”, 83, of Levant passed away April 15, 2023 at her home with family at her side.  Bea was born in Brewer, Maine March 27, 1940 to Howard & Arlene Brown. 

She graduated from Bangor High  and attended Beal College.  In 1982, Bea married Donrick Dorsky with a blended family of six children.  Surviving are Kit and Mike Sporl, Kim Simons and Raymond Delaney, Matthew and Marci Brown all of Florida;  Lisa and T.J. O’Rourke of Texas; Johanna and Gary Hughes and Aaron Curtis all of Maine; Grandchildren, Malerie, Scarlet, Thomas, Shannon, John Ryan, Micah, Casey, Nathaniel, Marina, Matthew, Gabriella and Piper along with many great-grandchildren.  Bea is predeceased by John Brown, brother and Claudette Oxley, sister.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.  Bea loved  spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, music, movies and holding/reading books.  The “crazy cat lady” also adored her furry babies.  She never turned an animal away that was in need of love or food.

 In lieu of flowers, make a donation to your local animal shelter in Bea’s name.  A graveside service and burial will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m., April 21, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery, Diesel Shop Road, Hermon. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Season’s Downunder, Main Street, Bangor from 12 – 3 pm. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor.
