Joan N. Murray
Bangor – Joan N. Murray, 78, passed on May 30, 2016 at her home in Bangor with her family by her side. She was born June 27, 1937 in Bangor, the daughter of Paul and Molly (Carlton) Nickerson.
Joan worked for several years as a flight attendant for Northeast Airlines. She was a very devoted, loving and generous mother who touched many hearts.
Surviving are two daughters, Margo Lee Holmes and her husband, Daren of Bucksport and Paula Murray and her husband, Tim of Alaska; one grandson, William Murray of Bucksport and one great granddaughter, Harley. She will also be remembered by her family at NFI North on Finson Road, Bangor where she lived and where they provided wonderful care and love.
A graveside service will be held 3 PM Thursday, June 2, 2016at Locust Grove Cemetery, Main Road, Hampden. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Message and memories may be shared with her family at kileyandfoley.com.
