Obituary of Annette S. Gosselin

Brewer – Annette S. Gosselin, 79, wife of the late Harvey G. Gosselin, Jr., passed peacefully Jan. 21, 2021 at her home with her family. She was born Sept. 8, 1941 in Fort Kent, the daughter of Samuel and Anne Marie (Ouellette) Sirois.

Annette attended St. John’s School and was a 1960 graduate of John Bapst High School. Annette and Harvey owned and managed the family business, Gosselin’s Bakery, for more than 50 years. She was also a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Bangor.

Surviving are her three children, Yvette Stewart and her husband, Bruce, Harvey E. Gosselin III and his fiancée, Stacy Fitzgerald and Gary Gosselin; grandchildren, Tyler Stewart and his wife, Riley and their daughter, Landry,  Ian Gosselin and his daughter, Stevie Pelletier, Caitlyn Gosselin and her fiancé, Duncan Davis and Anna Marie Herschel and her husband, Lincoln; sisters, her twin Yvette Sullivan, Diane Kolosky and her husband, John, Theoline LeBlanc, Claudette McLaughlin and Rinette Allban; sister-in-law, Anita Roy. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents and her stepfather, Frank Latham; sisters, Jean Brown and Linda Markowitz; brothers, John Roy and Pat Roy. Annette will be remembered by some special friends, Jaylene Dill and Tammy Randall. Annette’s family gratefully thanks the staff of Northern Light Home Care and Hospice and especially Dr. James VanKirk and her nurse, Cindy and to the staff of Gosselin’s Bakery.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 PM Friday, Jan. 29, 2021 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, York St., Bangor. In person attendance will be by invitation due to state and safety restrictions and the mass will be livestreamed at the parish website, https://stpaulbangor.me/watch-mass-live. Burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery will be at a later date.  For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Purple Iris Foundation, 418 So.
