Obituary of Nancy E. Tracy
Charles R. Tracy, Jr., 77, died Dec. 30, 2020 at his home in Brewer and his wife, Nancy E. (Norris) Tracy died Jan. 17, 2021 in Bangor after a period of declining health. Charles was born July 27, 1943 in Biddeford the son of Charles R. Tracy, Sr. and Dorothy L. (Coburn) Tracy. Nancy was born July 1, 1944 in Manchester, CT the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Caldwell) Norris. Charles & Nancy were 30 year residents of Brewer. Charles taught woodworking and was a minister doing interim work in the Bangor/Brewer area and Nancy worked as a medical administrator.
Charles was survived by his wife, Nancy (Norris) Tracy of Brewer by 18 days and is survived by a sister, Edith Worobe and her husband, James of Modesto, CA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Timothy Tracy and by a sister, Carol LeMoine.
Nancy is survived by two nieces and several cousins and extended family in Maine and Connecticut including Amanda Darcy and her husband, Tom and Katherine Smith and her fiancé, Henry Stebbins and by a sister-in-law, Margaret Norris. She was predeceased by her husband by 18 days, by her parents and by her brothers, James, Jr., Albert and Edward Norris and by a sister-in-law, Naomi Norris. Their family gratefully thanks the staff of Ross Manor for their excellent care, especially Tonya.
A graveside service for Charles & Nancy will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at South Cemetery, Tolland, Connecticut.
