Obituary of Kerry D. Dalton

Kerry D. Dalton, 69, husband of Nina M. Dalton, died Dec. 21, 2019 in Bangor after a period of declining health. He was born April 27, 1950 in Bangor, the son of George W. and Theresa H. (Buckley) Dalton. Kerry was a 1969 graduate of Brewer High School and served with the US Air Force retiring from the Maine Air National Guard after more than 20 years of service. He was active in several civic organizations and held different positions. Kerry was a member of the Lynde Lodge #174, AF & AM, Hermon and the Anah Temple Shrine where he was a Keystone Kop, the BPO of Elks Lodge #244, Bangor, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #3177 of Brewer where he was a past trustee and he was a member of the Moose Lodge #2698, Ellsworth. Kerry loved the time he spent at his camp, Twin Pines, on Salmon Pond in Washington County and he was a devout Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 46 years of Holden are one son, Patrick Dalton and his wife, Shannon and two grandchildren, Kason and Tristan Dalton all of Poland; one brother, T. Michael Dalton and his wife, Beth of Hampden; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff of the 5th Floor and the CCU at St. Joseph Hospital for going above and beyond for them.
Services and graveside services at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta will be held at a later date. Arrangements trusted to Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer and messages and memories may be shared with his family at kileyandfoley.com.
