Obituary of Elizabeth Caroline Rolfe
Brewer—Elizabeth Caroline “Betty” Rolfe, 90, passed away November 18, 2019. She was born August 18, 1929, the daughter of Earle and Pearl (McSorely) Rolfe.
After school, Betty worked at Bangor Box Company before moving to Worcester, MA in her early 20’s. While there she worked in a factory that manufactured electronic components. She had many good friends in Worcester. When Betty retired, she returned to Maine and has lived in Brewer for many years.
Betty was predeceased by her parents; siblings Ruby Nelson, Mae Rolfe, Arline Hollis, Dorothy Hollis, Helen Brooks, Patricia Van Cleef, James Rolfe, Ernest Rolfe. She is survived by nieces Bernadette Littlefield and Betty Wardwell; nephews Larry Brooks, Howard Hollis, Ronald Hollis; special friend Phyllis Elliot.
At Betty’s request, there will be no services. Private burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer. Messages and memories may be shared with the family at kileyandfoley.com
