Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Nadeau
Elizabeth A. “Betty” Nadeau, 90, wife of the late Romeo “Reggie” Nadeau, died Oct. 13, 2019 in Brewer after a brief illness. She was born Apr. 26, 1929 in Brewer, the daughter of Ralph E. and Agnes P. (Valley) Russell.
Betty was a 1947 graduate of John Bapst High School and was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Brewer and she was a dedicated homemaker. She also loved spending time with many special friends, whether to play cards, go out to lunch, or just chat and chew over coffee.
Surviving are her four children Michele Hogan and her husband Tim of Brewer, Collette Paine and her husband Frank of North Anson, James Nadeau of Hermon and girlfriend Sue Cobb, and Matthew Nadeau and his wife Sharon of Brewer; her grandchildren Cari Osborne and Jason Knowlton, Duke and Tammy Hayden, Heather Hogan and Emily Burrill, Erica and Clif Morneau, Toni Hogan and Jeremy Constanzer, Douglas and Jessica Libby, Tarik Bernaiche, and Seth Bernaiche; her great grandchildren Madison, Maci, Rooney, Douglas, Aleigh, Summer and Corey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including a special niece Linda Mishou. Betty was predeceased by her husband, a daughter, Patty Hayden, and six siblings.
Family and friends may visit 5 – 7 PM Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, No. Main St., Brewer. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer. A reception will follow.
