Obituary of April Dawn Norris
On this day, April was called home to God as promised to all (John 3:16). April Dawn Norris, 54, passed away surrounded by her family June 21, 2019. She was born April 19, 1965. She graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1983, and then the University of Maine with an A.A. in Liberal Arts. April was a devout Christian and a loving and caring mother and wife. She was a great friend to all who knew her. She loved watching sports and playing video and board games. Some of her fondest memories were of the times she had at camp on Norris Island. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, patient and kind heart, and beautiful soul. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Betty Royal and Richard Witherly; stepfather Edmond Royal; brothers Kevin Smith, Steven Smith Tommy Witherly. April is survived by husband and partner in life Alan Norris; son Nicholas Barrett; sister Morrelle Strout; brothers Wayne Smith, Danny Smith, David Smith; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held10 AM Friday, July 12, 2019 at Woodlawn Cemetery, North Main St., Brewer. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. Messages and memories may be shared with her family at kileyandfoley.com.
