Hazel M. Wood
Hazel M. Wood, 77, passed away on April 3, 2018 at a Bangor nursing center. She was born in St. Albans on May 17, 1940, the daughter of Ernest and Meredith (Parkman) Wood.
Hazel was a people person and loved everyone. She had many friends that became her family at Eastside Rehab. She is survived by her sister, Ernestine “Teena” Reynolds and her husband, Richard and by a brother, Michael Wood and his wife, Linda; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Hazel’s family is grateful and kindly thanks all the wonderful caregivers at Eastside and VNA Hospice staff for such great care.
A graveside service will be held in mid June at Greenlawn Cemetery, Swanville. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Eastside Center for Health & Rehab Activities Program, 516 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401.
