Dorothy L. Tracy Brewer – Dorothy L. (Coburn) Tracy, 94, wife of the late Charles Tracy, Sr., died Nov. 8, 2015 in Brewer. She was born May 22, 1921 in Saco, the daughter of George W. and Susie (Coolbrith) Coburn. Dorothy and her husband were residents of Southern Maine for many years. She was a graduate of Gorham State Teachers College and taught elementary school in Biddeford for 10 years before retiring. Dorothy operated a bakery out of her home for a time and she was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed drawing, painting, doing crafts, going to camp in Norway and she loved her pets. Surviving are one son, Charles Tracy, Jr. and his wife, Nancy of Brewer and one daughter, Edith Worobe and her husband, James of Modesto, CA; three grandchildren, Robert LeMoine, Tracy Worobe and Amybeth Worobe; two great grandchildren, Riley and Jasmin Worobe. She was predeceased by her husband in 2002, her son, Timothy in 2008, her daughter, Carol LeMoine in 2009 and her brother in 1989. A graveside service honoring Dorothy’s life will be held 10 AM Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland with Rev. Philip Shearman, presiding.
