Obituary of Kerry P. Wilson

Kerry P. Wilson, 74, passed away peacefully Sept 17, 2017 at his home in Bangor with his family at his side. He was born Apr. 9, 1943 in Brewer the son of Robert and Hazel (Hanson) Wilson. Kerry attended Hermon High School and worked for the City of Bangor as the operations director at Bangor Auditorium for 28 years. He also work as a private contractor in the family business. Kerry and Karol were married 54 years and they enjoyed their retirement years especially their time in Florida. He was a fan of the Patriots, Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Karol J. (Winship) Wilson of Bangor; two children, Keith and Lisa Wilson of Lincoln and Kristy and John Higgins of Glenburn; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Wilson of Brewer, Allison Wilson of Ft. Myers, FL, John “JJ” and Wilson Higgins both of Glenburn; a sister-in-law, Sally Lowe of Bangor; nieces and nephews. Kerry was predeceased by his parents and by his sister, Roberta Gee. His family is grateful to the Varney Family and to David Quimby for their kindness, concern and generosity over the years.

Family and friends may visit 4 – 7 PM Thursday, Sept 21, 2017 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Kerry requested a private burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
