Our condolences are extended to the entire family at this very difficult time. We'll always remember Auntie Norma as this vivacious hard-working woman with a love for everybody. As kids, I remember Dad and Mom taking us to visit down on the base, and Auntie Norma giving us silver dollars! We were so excited, and to be honest, I still have mine. The last time I got to see Auntie Norma was when she came up to Northern Ontario with three of her sisters when my Dad was dying. Mom & Dad had me bring Uncle Gene's watch for Dad to give back to his sister. Apparently, my Dad had "won" the watch in some kind of bet with Uncle Gene. I'll always remember Auntie Norma's strong faith, and her love of family.
Our hearts ache along with yours, although knowing she is now free, brings some degree of comfort. Please know we hold you all in prayer.
