Obituary of Matthew J. Stover

Matthew J. Stover Brewer – Matthew J. Stover, 23, died unexpectedly Dec. 20, 2016 at his home in Brewer. He was born Oct. 15, 1993 in Bangor, the son of Timothy E. Hosbach and Billie Jo Stover. Matt had been employed by Somic America in Brewer where he had met many friends and most recently was the assistant manager of the Big Apple Convenience Store on South Main St., Brewer. Matt was loved by everyone that he met. He was always trying to help all his family and friends. He was a funny, kind and caring son and friend. He loved fishing, camping and just being outside. Matthew loved to make people laugh and smile. Surviving in addition to his father of Steuben and his mother of Brewer are his brothers and sisters, Austin Stover of Brewer and one sister, Autum Tripp of Eddington, Tiffany and Ryan Silva; his cousin, Douglas Henderson whom he thought of as a brother; grandparents, Lynn and Paul Garland and Lynn and David West; mom #2, Buffy Plourde; aunts, Monica Young and her husband, Johnny, Angel Dunn, Patti Tozier and Ronnie Pinkham. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Francis Stover and he will be remembered by many friends Family and friends may visit 5 – 7 PM Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. A service honoring his life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor will also be at a later date.
