I was so saddened to learn of Sydney's passing. I had the pleasure of teaching Sydney as a student teacher in Mrs. MacInnes' third grade class. I will never forget her big smile, laugh, little raspy voice, vibrant personality and her love for journaling and drawing. She lit up the classroom and I'll never forget Sydney asking to be the flower girl in my wedding(along with Kristin and Bridgette). Such sweet memories. I am so sorry for your loss. When I first met Sydney through my son, Larry, one of the many things that struck me about Sydney was what Larry saw... how beautiful, vibrant and loving this young lady was and what a wonderful mother and sister she had.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Amy, Bill, Maddy, and family.
As a parent, no one can imagine the pain of losing their child before them.
As a sibling, no one can imagine the pain that comes from losing your sister.

Syd was a fun young lady to watch on the softball field, both in PAL and during her middle school years with Lexie. She was a powerhouse at bat and ran like she had wheels! We have fond memories of Syd with her thick blonde pony tail hair and sporting her orange and black uniform! She'll be missed by all who were blessed to know her. <3

Syd, you are and will always be in my heart. No words can describe how much I miss you. I still wait for my phone to ring hoping to hear from you. I know you are in heaven with God and what a beautiful angle you must be. I will always have you in my heart and please watch over me. I love you baby girl.
